Warsaw, January 15th, 2024 - GoldenPeaks Capital has entered into a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Boryszew Green Energy and Gas, part of Boryszew Group to reduce the carbon footprint of Boryszew Group’s plants in Poland.

GoldenPeaks Capital is one of the fastest growing independent green power producers in Europe and one of the largest photovoltaic system owners in Poland. Under this transaction, GoldenPeaks Capital will supply 24 GWh of renewable electricity annually, generated by newly built solar power plants in Poland, with an expected capacity of 21 MWp.

Boryszew Green Energy and Gas is an entity within Boryszew Group responsible for electricity and gas supplies within the Group but also to external offtakers. Boryszew Group, being one of the biggest privately owned industrial groups in Poland, has set ambitious plans on carbon footprint reduction combining multiple initiatives to achieve it’s goals. One of these is the Power Purchase Agreement with GoldenPeaks Capital, proving the importance of such agreements with energy intensive customers while helping to maintain and increase competitiveness on European markets, combining green energy with additional bottom line benefit.

For GoldenPeaks Capital, this is the seventh PPA in Poland. With all of its contracted volumes, GoldenPeaks Capital is one of the market leaders and utmost reliable renewable energy partner.
